When I booked my dive trip to Con Dao, I was picturing vibrant coral reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But then I saw something on Amadive Con Dao's dive list: **Wreck Diving**. My pulse jumped. This wasn't just a standard dive; this was journey into history.

Honestly, I felt nervous. Wreck diving requires extra care. But the team at **Amadive Con Dao Dive Center** were fantastic. Their PADI instructors gave us a detailed briefing. We discussed our safety procedures, the history of the sunken ship, and what we would see. Being in such a small group immediately made me feel comfortable.

Going down was surreal. First, it's a shadow in the blue, and then it came into view. It is huge. The ship is now a bustling new home, covered in corals and teeming with fish. I spotted giant groupers hiding from inside the cargo hold, and lionfish hiding in the cracks. That feeling of swimming alongside this giant, silent vessel was indescribable—eerie, beautiful, and humbling at the same time. It truly is a time capsule on the seabed.

For any an Open Water diver (or higher) visiting Con Dao and looking for something more the website standard reef, I cannot recommend this **Con Dao wreck dive** enough. It was the absolute highlight of my diving trip. A massive shout-out to the **Amadive** crew for their expertise and for making this incredible experience so safe.
